UCI Gravel World Series comes to Japan for the first time ever, HYSK Gravel Classic Yakurai presented by GRAVELKING.

■Course

Hidden in the mountains of Miyagi prefecture, the HYSK Gravel Classic Yakurai offers riders a rare opportunity to race one of the world’s most unique gravel destinations and earn qualification for the UCI Gravel World Championships in Australia.

 The challenge is real.
Starting and finishing at Kamimachi General Gymnasium and Sports Park, riders will tackle a demanding course consisting of two approximately 53km laps with a total elevation gain of 2,616m. Men aged 60 and over and women aged 50 and over will complete one lap, totaling approximately 1,260m of climbing.

Japan’s rugged mountain roads and remote gravel tracks await those willing to test themselves.
But this race is about more than results. Because this is Japan’s first-ever UCI Gravel World Series event, every rider on the start line has the opportunity to become part of cycling history. The winners will forever be remembered as the first champions of a UCI Gravel World Series race held in Japan.
